Happy Thursday everyone! I hope everyone is getting ready for Super Bowl Sunday in t-minus less than three days. I am rooting all the way for my home team the Los Angeles Rams! We got this LA! I am showing my support for my love Jared Goff ;)! I also start my spring semester with school on Monday, so I am starting to get back to the swing of things with school. Today’s post will be a fashion post on my top 5 spring/summer 2019 accessory trends to start wearing now! I love pairing accessories with an outfit because they add the final touch to the perfect outfit. Accessories can be a great staple piece to an outfit that can add extra flair to it! I also love accessories because you can dress them up or down without any outfit. There are so many pretty accessories to choose from to pair with your ootd! Below, I listed my top 5 accessories to start wearing for spring/summer 2019! I am so excited to start wearing these trends now! Enjoy!

Top Spring/Summer 2019 Accessory Trend #1 Double Handbags- The two handbag approach- totes full of gym kits, make up bags, and full of credit cards. Top high end couture designers such as Chanel, Fendi, and Gucci have translated the look into a key trend to start wearing for spring/summer 2019! Chanel packed two identical classic boy handbags on each hip, while Fendi took their own twist by matching its shoulder bag to its carry all tote. One thing I love about the double handbag trend for spring and summer is that you can wear a cute cross body messenger bag across your body and pair it with a cute tote to store your wallet, keys, make up bag, sunglasses, and coin purse! I think this a very modern and unique trend to take on this spring and summer season. You can also slay the double handbag trend by carrying a two handle handbag in one hand and a gym tote on your shoulder! I am excited to try the double handbag trend this upcoming spring/summer season!

Top Spring/Summer 2019 Accessory Trend #2 Platform Heels- I love a good heel with a platform that not only look cute and fashion forward, but are also a comfortable shoe! The return of Miu Miu’s signature platform to the runway had die hard Miu Miu fans beaming! Miu Miu’s platforms are set this spring/summer to dominate the party and wedding season alongside offerings by Yves Saint Laurent & Dolce & Gabbana. I love to wear platform heels and sandals during the spring/summer season because they can be dressed up or down for any occasion! They add an extra edgy touch to an outfit as well! Platforms are always trend forward and they are so many cute and trendy styles to choose from to wear!

Top Spring/Summer 2019 Accessory Trend #3 Shield Sunglasses- Shield sunnies are a must have key accessory to wear for the spring/summer 2019 season! Shield sunglasses give a causal outfit a modern but edgier look! Not only do they shield your entire face from the paparazzi, but also they give your outfit a sexier twist! Shapes from Gucci, Miu Miu, and Tom Ford gave this trend a hot twist this spring/summer 2019 season! Think anywhere between a wraparound surf style to a sporty gym to day out look! I am excited to try out the shield sunglasses trend for summer whenever I am traveling on vacation or for a fun beach day!

Top Spring/Summer 2019 Accessory Trend #4 The Extra Elegant Belt-Bag- I love wearing belt bags and fanny packs because they look super cute and trendy with any outfit! They also make the perfect accessory whenever you want a small bag instead of carrying around a large tote or handbag. This spring/summer season, the extra elegant belt bag will come into its own this year thanks to Givenchy’s white leather belt bag and Chloé’s hand held belt bag! I love belt bags because they look super chic with any outfit and they are key essential to wear for festival season such as Coachella! Belt bags come in all designs and colors and they are so many hot belt bags to choose from! They make a great small purse because you can put your keys, gum, change purse, and your phone in it! I am so excited to start wearing belt bags and fanny packs for spring break and hopefully festival season!

Top Spring/Summer 2019 Accessory Trend #5 Feathered Shoes- Feathers, feathers are flocking around everywhere this spring/summer 2019 season! This season an abundance of fluff and trims on cuffs to all over took on a new hot twist of peacocking! At Valentino, their chunky leather sandals are already topping our summer wardrobe wish lists! I love feathers on shoes, because they add a glamorous and girly vibe to the shoe! I would definitely describe myself as glamorous and a total girly girl, so this is the perfect shoe for me to wear this season! Feathers look chic on a shoe because they add a dressier vibe to your outfit and they are perfect to wear for wedding and party season! They add a fun twist to a dressy outfit! I am excited to wear feather shoes this spring season!
