Summer 2019 Fashion/Beauty Q&A!!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know it is only Monday but I am looking forward to this long holiday weekend. It feels great to be back to blogging on Kisses & Couture! Today’s post is going to be a Summer Fashion/Beauty Q & A! Today I am going to be answering of your summer questions. I love doing Q & A’s because it is fun to answer people’s questions and help people with advice on fashion and beauty! I am answering all of your top questions.

I have chosen eleven questions to answer down below! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for sending me your questions that you want to be answered! I really appreciate it and I am more than happy to answer your questions! I have listed the questions in order down below. Without further a due, I give you the top most asked Summer questions enjoy!

1) What’s a good summer evening outfit for men?

Answer: That’s a great question finally a menswear question to be answered! I think a perfect summer evening outfit for a man would be a statement jacket to wear! When it comes to menswear the sky is really the limit. If I had to put an outfit together, a statement bomber jacket, a pair of dark jeans, a cool pair of sneakers, and any shirt. Mixing and matching light and dark colors together make a perfect date night look! If you are going for a more causal daytime look, wear light colors such as baby blue or white. If you are looking for a dressier evening outfit wear black, or navy! Today I see a lot of men liking to accessorize their outfits I think a really cool belt bag worn across your body would look trendy! Or you could wear a classic pair of sunglasses that really spices up your look and not over doing it!

2) Best primers and using normal moisturizer as a primer?

Answer: I love answering beauty questions these are always the most fun to answer. I am a make up and skin care fanatic so these are my favorite kind of questions! I really love to use Benefit’s POREfessional Face Primer before putting on my full face of makeup! I love this primer because it quickly minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines for smoother skin. I also love Too Faced’s Hangover Replenishing Primer Setting Spray! That is my favorite go to primer I use everyday before applying all of my make up. I love that is a spray and you can just spray it on and move to the next step in your make up routine! It also smells amazing which is a bonus to me personally! Sometimes I like to use just plain face moisturizer as a primer when I am going for that no makeup look. I use the Neutrogena Oil Free Daily Moisturizer! I love this moisturizer because it is oil free and it will not clog up your pores before putting on your make up! It is a great moisturizer to use if you are looking for a simpler primer. It’s also great for combination skin. I hope that answers your question and helps!

3) What are your favorite more affordable stores right now?

Answer: Great question! My two favorite affordable stores right now would have to be Garage Clothing or Princess Polly Boutique, which is an Australian online store that also has a USA site available now! I love both of these stores because not only are they affordable, they also have some many cute and trendy styles to choose from! I love Garage Clothing because all of their clothes are trend forward and they always have the best sales. Princess Polly is amazing because their website is huge and they have so many cute and fun styles to choose from on their site! I highly recommend buying from both of their stores if you are looking to add some more affordable clothes in your closet this summer! I know I already have bought a bunch from both! ☺

4) How do you pair accessories with an outfit/

Answer: I love accessories! They are my favorite last finishing touch of any outfit! To pair an accessory with an outfit with out over doing it, I recommend since it’s summer pairing a cute cross body purse or a cute belt bag with a dress or a romper! Whenever you are pairing an accessory with an outfit, my number one tip is to not over due and go crazy with many accessories. If you have a simple outfit on, try adding a cute pair of trendy sunglasses with some pretty jewelry to spice up your outfit! If you have a more dressier look on and you do not want to over due it, add a chic handbag for the finishing touch of the outfit! Less is more when it comes to pairing accessories with an outfit. I hope that helps!

5) What is your favorite fashion brand and why?

I love your question! My favorite fashion brand that is literally my entire closet would have to be Free People! I have been wearing Free People for the longest time now and it has always been my favorite go to store to shop at! I love Free People because, it describes my style the most boho trend forward chic and there are so many new styles they are always coming out with. Free People looks amazing and it is the cutest brand that is around. I also love Free People because the quality of the clothes are high quality and I do not mind paying full price even though Free People is very expensive. Free People is definitely worth the hype!

6) Who is your favorite fashion designer?

Answer: My favorite fashion designer is Coco Chanel! Coco has been my idol and my biggest fashion inspiration ever since I was little girl! Coco Chanel influenced me to fall in love with fashion and do it as a career for the rest of my life. I love Coco Chanel because she is timeless and will always be a legend! Coco Chanel has shown true dedication and passion for what she believed and let no men or anyone dictate what she couldn’t do. I think this is an important message for everyone out there and especially women where she demonstrated that even a woman can influence the world! She also inspired women to wear what they want and it does not define who you are and I think that is an important message for those who work in the fashion industry or who want to do fashion as a career like me! Another reason why Coco Chanel is my favorite fashion designer is because she showed the world her passion for fashion and was not afraid of failing talk about a girl boss and a true queen!!

7) How do you keep your hair from frizzing in the summer heat?

Answer: Good question! When it comes to my hair in the summertime, I like to put a lot of anti frizz product in it. My go to hair products for this would have to be Moroccan Oil the blue bottle and It’s A 10 Leave In Plus Keratin Spray! Wash your hair first and condition it with whatever products you use, rinse on cold water to take out the frizz, and dry with a micro fiber towel. This will take out the entire frizz. Apply both of the products on wet damp hair mentioned above and braid hair into a French braid or give your hair a silky smooth bouncy blowout and this should help eliminate the frizz in the humid summer time! I also recommend getting a healthy keratin treatment it is way better for your hair than the Brazilian blowout and the keratin treatment lasts up two six months and is way more affordable and will not damage your hair! Say goodbye to frizz with these treatments! I hope that helps you out!

8) If could you have only 3 make up products for the rest of your life which would you choose?

Answer: That’s such a cute question! That’s a hard one to choose from they are so many make up products that I love and I use in my everyday make up routine. I would choose; foundation, mascara, and lip gloss! I love foundation because it makes my skin and my complexion look really smooth. Foundation is always a must for me! Mascara is my favorite go to make up product because it darkens my lashes adding more drama to them, and it makes my brown eyes pop! I love lip gloss because I always make sure my lip gloss is always poppin’! Lip gloss adds shine and moisture to my lips giving them a really kissable feel! I really love highlighter because I always love to glow whenever I am doing my full make up routine, but I would choose lip gloss as my third make up product to use for the rest of my life! ☺

9) What is your favorite part of the fashion industry and why?

Answer: My favorite part of the fashion industry that I want to do with my career would have to be a fashion journalist/public relations! I have always love to write, travel, and to be creative. I want to be a fashion writer for a high end well known fashion or beauty magazine, because writing about fashion has always been my passion! I also love to travel and to see different parts of the world and how fashion is a major part of culture would be so fun! I love fashion journalism because if you love to write like me, there is no limit to expressing on how you feel about fashion! I also love fashion buying, because it is so much fun trend forecasting and seeing what’s hot and not for the next season in the fashion industry! I am currently studying fashion merchandising/marketing in school right now! I also am studying fashion social media too. I hope that answers your question!

10) What is your favorite make up brand and why?

Answer: I love this question! My favorite make up brand is Anastasia Beverly Hills! I love ABH because her products are amazing and so high quality! Anastasia herself is really inspirational because she runs her own make up line and is a very successful make up business women! I love ABH, because she makes the best brow, lip gloss, eye shadow, and highlighters all around! I have been wearing ABH for four years now and she never fails whenever she releases a new eye shadow or highlighting palette! ABH is the best make up brand and I recommend buying her make up products at Sephora or Ulta!

11) What is your biggest staple piece?

Answer: My biggest staple piece would probably have to be a chic handbag! A handbag is very important to me whenever I am finding the final touch to my outfit. A handbag is the perfect staple piece for any outfit because it can be dressed up or down! My other biggest staple piece would have to be a pair of high strappy stiletto heels! High heels are always glamorous and so chic to wear with any outfit! Whenever I have my handbag in my hand, and my high heels on I feel like a confident women who can take on the world!
