Lifestyle Post: A Boujee Day At Malibu County Mart!!

Happy Thursday! I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to apologize to my readers/subscribers if I have been MIA from blogging on Kisses & Couture. I've been wanting to focus on my mental health and take an electronic/social media break for a little bit just to focus on myself. I am back to blogging now and I'm excited to write today's lifestyle post. I haven't done a lifestyle post in a while, so I enjoy writing these unique posts on my blog. Today's article will be about my boujee day in Malibu at the Malibu County Mart! I hope you all enjoy this article!

I recently visited the Malibu County Mart in Malibu, to escape the heat in Calabasas where I live. I live twenty minutes from Malibu. I take the Las Virgines Canyon to get to Malibu and it's a quick twenty music. Blast some Harry Styles and Lizzo on your drive, and you are there in a flash! I love going to Malibu County Mart whenever I'm in Malibu before I hit up the beach. I've been going to Malibu County Mart since I was kid. I bring my son Liam there with my family and he loves it! Liam loves the big kid's playground there and loves to run around on the grass in front of Tra Di Noi restaurant.

I love going to Taverna Tony's for a date night or weekend lunch. I love Greek/Mediterranean food so much it's one of my favorite kind of food. Tra Di Noi is also a great option for lunch and a date night. Italian food is also my favorite food too. Cafe Habana is yummy Mexican food to grab drinks and dinner with your friends. I also really like John's Garden for a quick healthy bite to eat before going to the beach. Howdy's is also great Mexican food too it's in the same parking lot as Whole Food's across the way. There are so many great food options in the Malibu County Mart for a date night, quick bite to eat, or to grab drinks and yummy food with for a GNO! Taverna Tony's is my favorite restaurant there I highly recommend! They have great food and entertainment there on the weekends! Summer time is my favorite time of the year to go there! It makes you feel like you are in Santorini or Mykonos in Greece!

Shopping is my favorite thing to do for self-care and retail therapy! I go over my budget whenever I go to Malibu County Mart. They have all of my favorite stores; Free People, Lululemon, Sephora, and Brandy Melville. I always go to Brandy and Lulu when I go there! The other stores are really expensive, but if you are boujeee on a budget like me check out the sales rack at Free People and Lululemon! I usually pay full price at Sephora, but sometimes they have great make up deals over the week or weekend some select products are on sale. Brandy Melville is always a must whenever I am there. I've been shopping at Brandy Melville forever since the OG Brandy. One bad thing about Brandy is they do not give you your money back. I have had to go all the way up to corporate to do a return before and it has not been easy or pleasant, so watch out for their return policy and really read your receipt and get an item that fits you comfortably there before purchasing. My other favorite store to shop there is M. Fredric! I love M. Fredric, I've been shopping there with my mom since I was a kid and I still shop there! I get clothes for Liam there now too and he looks so cute, stylish, and comfortable in his M. Fredric! I highly recommend shopping at M. Fredric they have the cutest adn most stylish clothes and they have good sales too if you are on a budget!

A good latte or matcha is a great stop to make at the County Mart if you are on the go and don't have much time. Starbucks is a classic choice to make there and Starbucks is my favorite place to get a quick drink on the go. Alred Coffee is there and I finally got to try it for the first time ever since I heard about it and it was amazing! I do decaf coffee since I don't like mixing caffeine with my anxiety. The iced decaf vanilla latte is a must there and it's their most popular drink there. They gave me a free iced decaf vanilla latte! The staff was so kind and sweet. I definitely am going back to Alfred next time I am in Malibu that's the closest one to my house too. The Melrose one is my favorite location! They have many locations to choose from in LA! But first, coffee!

A quick OOTD in my photos I took: My halter white keyhole top is from Brandy Melville! I got it at the Malibu location! My pink floral wrap skirt is from Brandy Melville in Westlake! My stud strappy sparkly sandals are from Steve Madden. My pink crossbody and pouch purse is from Blush Salon & Spa in Woodland Hills. Blush is my hair salon and they have a cute little boutique in the store! They have such stylish and adorable accessories there. My Aviator sunglasses are from Ray Ban! My rose gold watch is from Michael Kors! I wanted to go for a stylish and cute comfortable look for a shopping and coffee run!
